CAPE TOWN - African National Congress (ANC) veteran, Cameron Dugmore, said that any disputes over the party's electoral candidates list have been resolved.

This weekend, Dugmore visited and engaged with community members across the southern Cape ahead of next month's local government elections.

He said that residents were very receptive to their so-called "social invasion".

"People, on one hand, get on with their lives and like to talk to you about what is going on in your life and their lives but there is also serious interest about what is happening in the ANC and who is standing."
