JOHANNESBURG - Rob Walter has told EWN Sport leaving the Titans was not easy.

Walter says it was the right time to move.

"I am really fond of my job at the Titans. I've loved working in this environment. It was an extremely tough decision to make, but one that I feel is best for me in my coaching journey."

He adds he has so many highlights from his time at the Titans.

"Success in the T20 campaign, to win nine in a row was record breaking in some respects. To win the first class competition was something I wanted to do from day one and can't forget the momentum final last year, in the position were in, to come back and win that game was special.
