Another taxi boss gunned down in Gauteng

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng police have confirmed a taxi owner has been shot and killed on the East Rand.

Authorities say the taxi boss was collecting money from Ivory Park Taxi Association drivers when he was gunned down earlier today.

Eyewitnesses say two suspects opened fire and then ran away.

The police's Kay Makhubela says, "Two men got out of the car and started shooting at him several times. He died at the scene. The men fled in their Toyota Tazz. So far, no arrests have been made".
