Nkoana-Mashabane: Brexit? We don’t know much about it

JOHANNESBURG - Minister of International Relations and Corporation Maite Nkoana- Mashabane says she doesn't know much about Brexit except for what she has seen on television.

Last month, Britain voted to leave the European Union (EU), in a move that sent shockwaves through the world economy.

The decision also caused the pound to drop to its lowest since the 1980s.

When asked about her reaction the Brexit, Nkoana-Mashabane said, "Brexit? We don't know about it - we don't know about it. We just saw it on television. We hear that it will impact, negatively, on our trade investment relations with the countries from that part. But we haven't seen real evidence."
