Baby Jordan killers denied parole
The two offenders are serving a 20-year prison sentence for the contract killing of the 6-month baby.
Bonginkosi Sigenu and Zanathemba Gwada are serving a 20-year prison sentence for the contract killing of the six-month baby in 2005.
The murder was ordered by Dina Rodriguez, who was in a relationship with the child's father at the time.
Rodrigues was handed a life sentence.
She admitted in court she was obsessed with getting the infant, who was not hers, out of their lives.
Regional Correctional Services Commissioner Delekile Klaas says the two killers she hired will sit for now.
"In the case of these two, the parole board has indicated that, one, they are still busy with psychological sessions so they must conclude those programmes.
"Two, it's still waiting for the report from the South African Police Services and the community policing forum. Three, the offenders are still undergoing restorative justice."
