EWN asked readers to vote on Julius Malema's land-grab comments and the results are in.
JOHANNESBURG - Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema ruffled some feathers when he told supporters in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday, that they must not be apologetic about occupying land illegally.
Eyewitness News asked readers for their thoughts on his comments and the results are in.
A total of 2,647 people voted and the majority thought Malema's comments were illegal and inflammatory.
The results are as follows:
Right message - 556 votes
Govt failure - 344 votes
Illegal & inflammatory - 1,218 votes
Right message, wrong plan - 529 votes.

The EFF leader continued to say because the African National Congress failed to realise the clause in the Freedom Charter that said South Africans could decide where they wanted to stay, supporters could occupy any land they wanted.
