Rain, light snowfall expected as cold front hits WC
The SA Weather Service says a cold front will move across the Western Cape later today.
CAPE TOWN - The South African Weather Service is warning of a cold front that will move across the Western Cape later today, bringing heavy rainfall to parts of the province.
The cold front will continue into tomorrow, with temperatures expected to drop into the lower teens.
Forecaster Victoria Nurse says light snowfall is also expected over the Matroosberg and Cederberg mountains.
"We are expecting isolated to scattered showers over those areas extending further inland. We could see widespread showers over the southwestern parts of the Western Cape on Monday and we have a special weather advisory out."
