Hollywood mourns ‘Star Trek’ actor Anton Yelchin
Yelchin reprised the role in a third film, 'Star Trek Beyond', which is due for release next month.
NEW YORK - Hollywood is still reeling from the sudden death of 27-year-old actor Anton Yelchin.
The Russian-born actor, who'd appeared in films such as Like Crazy and Star Trek, was killed in a parking accident when his car rolled down the driveway of his Los Angeles home and pinned him against a brick pillar and a security fence.

Nicolas Cage, Jodie Foster and Star Trek Director Justin Lin have all paid tribute to the warm, hard-working actor.
Yelchin, an only child born to professional figure skaters in St Petersburg, moved to the US when he was still a baby.
He played Pavel Chekov, the role originally made famous by Walter Koenig, in the rebooted Star Trek films released in 2009 and 2013.
Yelchin reprised the role in a third film, Star Trek Beyond, which is due for release next month.
He had a number of projects on the go, as many remember him as a talented actor on the cusp of becoming a true star.
