JOHANNESBURG - South Africa needs to find ways to heal its psyche in the aftermath of Apartheid atrocities.
This is according to psychiatric expert Doctor Bernard Janse van Rensburg.
He says 40 years after the 1976 Soweto Uprising, iconic photographs (such as that of Hector Pieterson's lifeless body) still trigger the collective trauma of the nation.
