CAPE TOWN - The Democratic Alliance (DA) has rubbished claims by the Patriotic Alliance (PA) that the party is doing nothing for coloured communities.

PA leader Gayton McKenzie says they will protest against African National Congress and DA electioneering in so-called coloured areas.

The party recently stormed a DA gathering in Eersterust in Pretoria.

DA Western Cape leader Patricia de Lille said, "He is talking absolute nonsense and fortunately the voters are more intelligent than what he is. He can't just surface a few days before the election and say this just to try and win votes from people."
