Top London department store installs a crèche for men

LONDON - One of London's top department stores has installed a crèche, for men.
Variously described as a 'man cave' and 'man park', the area is meant to keep men occupied while their female partners are elsewhere in the store shopping.
Women often remark how their male partners always try to hurry them along in retail areas and are sometimes more price conscious when it comes to fashion clothing.
Harvey Nichols, a top store in one of London's most desirable districts, Knightsbridge, has converted part of its basement in to a so-called man crèche.
The bloke-friendly area features a bar, computer games, a large television and a barber.
By separating the sexes during shopping, it's hoped couples will spend more time in the store, albeit independently, and more at the tills.
