CAPE TOWN - Family members of murdered Grassy Park police officer Lindekile Sikade, are demanding justice.

Two men are accused of shooting the detective outside his Phillipi-East home in April.

A third suspect has been released due to a lack of evidence.

Accused, Mhlangabezi Mqulo and Luyanda Thafeni have been remanded in custody until a formal bail application next week.

Sizwe Sokaiza says coming face-to-face with his brother's alleged killers was traumatic.

"I want them to be in jail for the rest of their lives. My brother was very good to us and we've been suffering since losing him."

Police say the murdered police officer's firearm was stolen in the attack.
