Cape Road Assist 'deeply saddened' after driver is gunned down

CAPE TOWN - A local towing company says it is baffled by the murder of one of its drivers in Atlantis.
Thomas Dias, aged 26, was gunned down in Mamre Main Road yesterday.

A woman was also injured during the fatal attack.
The Cape Road Assist's general manager, Danie Antell, says they're all deeply saddened by the loss.
"We are completely flabbergasted and our condolences go out to his family and friends. He was off-duty in Atlantis and went to buy food. For us, this is a senseless act of violence."
