Cape activists use art to highlight social inequalities

On Sunday, members of Ufuna Ukwazi and the Social Justice Coalition drew murals on the Sea Point promenade as part of their Reclaim the City campaign.

The campaigners won an interdict against the Western Cape government last month, over what they claimed was the flawed sale of prime state property, which could be better used for low cost housing
Ufuna Ukwazi's Nkosikhona Swaartbooi said, "The idea was for people to portray what they think an inclusive city looks like. We gave them the chance to write on the wall, to portray that for everyone to see."
