Cops nab suspect believed to be involved in 3 Krugersdorp murders
Police say investigators are exploring possible links to the triple murders & investigations are continuing.
JOHANNESBURG - Krugersdorp police have arrested a man believed to be involved in a series of murders in the area, including the killing of an estate agent earlier this week.
Hanlie Lategan, aged 52, was reported missing on Monday after meeting possible clients before her body was discovered by school children near a stream a day later.
In the weeks preceding that, two insurance brokers were also reported missing after meeting prospective clients.
The police's Appel Ernst says investigators are exploring all possible links to the triple murders and investigations are continuing.
"A 29-year-old male was arrested on Thursday evening due to the investigations done in Krugersdorp. He is expected in court on 6 June."
