JOHANNESBURG - Movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger has posted a video on his Twitter account of a large elephant charging a safari vehicle he was in while on a game drive.

In the video, Schwarzenegger can be seen in the lower right corner of the frame as the massive elephant bats its ears at the safari Range Rover.

The game drive tour guide can also be seen sitting in the front seat, telling the animal, "'No, no, no," as it lowers a tusk into the Rover's hood with a loud clang.

Schwarzenegger shared the moment on social media.

Schwarzenegger arrived in South Africa last week to officially open the Arnold Sports Festival at the Sandton Convention Centre.

Known as the 'Arnold Classic', the annual multisport event is named after the legendary bodybuilder.

The event followed in the footsteps of the original 'Arnold Classic', founded in 1989.
