JOHANNESBURG - Auditor-General Kimi Makwetu says he'll be reflecting on issues of bribery and corruption when he releases the audit results of the country's municipalities tomorrow.

Makwetu was speaking at an ethics conference in Johannesburg where he's emphasised the need for ethical leadership.

He says the local government audit is important as the country heads towards the elections.

"We are counting down 62 to 63 days before we hit 3 August so we have the analyses of the 2014/2015 audit work. We will also give the country a sense of where we were five years ago."
