Woman arrested in R2m drug bust at OR Tambo

CAPE TOWN - A woman has been arrested after trying to smuggle cocaine valued at more than R2 million through OR Tambo International Airport.

The woman was intercepted by customs officials yesterday.

She was travelling from Brazil.

This is one of several drug busts made at a South African airport in recent weeks.

Last week, a woman was found with packets of tik taped to her body at Cape Town International Airport.
