NTA: There will be no taxi strike tomorrow
The NTA's spokesperson Theo Malele has given the assurance that there will be no disruptions tomorrow.
JOHANNESBURG - The National Taxi Alliance (NTA) has confirmed there will be no taxi strike in Gauteng tomorrow.
The Community Safety Department released a statement yesterday expressing its concern over the looming strike in the industry.
It's believed taxi bosses are unhappy about the implementation of operation 'ke molao' which has resulted in hundreds of taxis being impounded for flouting road regulations
The NTA's spokesperson Theo Malele has given the assurance that there will be no disruptions tomorrow.
"There is no meeting that sat and took this decision so therefore services will be normal and we would like to apologise to the commuters for any inconvenience caused."
