JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi says there isn't a single school in Gauteng that doesn't have access to water, sanitation or electricity.

Lesufi tabled his R39 billion budget plans for this financial year in the provincial legislature yesterday.

During a debate, the Economic Freedom Fighters warned that access to toilets remained a major concern in poorer schools.

But Lesufi says the red berets are misinformed.

"There's no single school in Gauteng that does not have a proper sanitation, electricity, water or they can't utilise electricity. None."
