JOHANNESBURG - Police say a Thai man who claims to have found 700,000 methamphetamine pills has driven the price of the drug down after handing them out to his friends for free.
According to news agency AFP, Prachaub Kanpecth, who normally collects rubbish and forest honey, found the narcotics with a street value of about a R100 million this week.
By the time of his arrest yesterday, he had already handed out 200,000 tablets, flooding the market and driving the drug's price down
