The past 145 days, starting on 1 January to 25 May, were be spent working to pay SA citizen's total taxes for the calendar year; and anything from tomorrow is all in the people's pockets.
Free Market Foundation Director, Leon Louw, says tax freedom day is a very effective indicator for tax appetite of different governments around the world.
