JOHANNESBURG - Three more suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of two workers, who allegedly robbed a farmer in Parys, in the Free State.

A total of 10 people are now facing murder charges after Samuel Tjexa and Seun Tangasha were beaten to death, allegedly by a group of farmers, in January.

A police captain is among the accused.

It's believed Tjexa and Tangasha entered Lodewikus van der Westhuizen's house in January, pointed a firearm at him and demanded R20,000.

The pair were then chased and assaulted by a group of people.

The police's Hangwani Mulaudzi says, "The group will be back in court on Friday. I suspect three others who were arrested will join them. A task team was established and they've been investigating since this happened."
