JOHANNESBURG - The African Democratic Christian Party (ACDP) says it's time to replace corrupt leaders with new ones, calling on voters to elect a party that will move the country forward.

The party launched its manifesto for the local government elections in the East Rand today, calling on South Africans to take a stand against the African National Congress (ANC).

In the manifesto, the ACDP says it aims to address challenges of poverty and unemployment while restoring the integrity of the country through its leadership.

The party's Steve Swart said, "We are very concerned about corrupt leadership at all levels. We indicated the need for presenting candidates who are people of integrity and servant leaders who will put their communities ahead of lining their own pockets."
