US, world powers ready to provide weapons to Libya forces fighting Isis

PRETORIA - The United States and other world powers are ready to provide weapons to the Libyan unity government fighting so-called Islamic State.
Their talks in Vienna are clearing the hurdle of getting weapons to the United Nations-backed Government of National Accord without these slipping into the hands of the terrorists.

Ministers from the United States, Europe and the Middle East gathered in Vienna for talks with Fayez al-Sarraj, the Libyan Prime Minister.
His unity government recently established themselves in Tripoli, trying to end the bloody chaos that's engulfed the country since the fall of Muammar Gadaffi five years ago.
The UN will have to lift an arms embargo against Libya before the unity government can be armed.
