JOHANNESBURG - South African rapper Nasty C has cleared the air over rumours he's been signed to United States rap mogul Jay-Z's Roc Nation music management label.
Nasty C, whose real name is Nsikayesizwe David Ngcobo, posted a tweet yesterday saying his meeting with Jay-Z's company was still in the works.
The Roc Nation meeting is still in the plans. I haven't met anyone from the label, I haven't signed any deal.— Bad Hair ⌛️ (@Nasty_CSA) May 14, 2016
Earlier this month, Ngcobo, who boasts a resume as a hip hop musician, songwriter and record producer, told TMG Entertainment he was contacted by Roc Nation to set up a meeting for later this month.
He said he was excited for the meeting, but is aware anything could happen.
