Writer Winnie Rust murdered in Wellington

CAPE TOWN- Well-known writer Winnie Rust has been found murdered at her Wellington home.
Her body was found by her husband yesterday in the home where they lived for more than 60 years.
It's being reported she had injuries to her face and her hands and feet had been bound.
Police have confirmed a murder case is being investigated, but no arrests have yet been made.
Rust's first novel, Martha, a story about the black countess of Stamford, was shortlisted for the Jan Rabie/Rapport prize in 2005.
Some people have taken to social media to express shock over her murder.
