CAPE TOWN - Dozens of Athlone residents are marching through the streets of Hazendal calling for justice for slain six-year-old Saadiqah Lippert.

The little girl was killed in the crossfire during an alleged gang related shooting on Monday.

The group of about 50 residents from Hazendal is made up mainly of children.

They're holding up placards with messages which read "justice for Deekah" and "enough is enough".

Others are holding photographs of Lippert.

The group has walked through Bokmakierie Street where the young girl was killed during an alleged gang related shooting.

She had been playing with friends near her grandmother's house when she was shot and killed.

Cape Town police arrested two men shortly after the fatal shooting.

They have already made their first court appearance.
