Rey: 'May the fourth be with you'
'Star Wars' fans across the world are celebrating their love for the franchise today.
JOHANNESBURG - Actress Daisy Ridley has wished Star Wars fans a happy Star Wars Day in a video, thanking them for money raised through the Force for Change charity.
The initiative, which is aimed at empowering youth to become social change agents and finding creative solutions to world problems, will benefit four charities, namely Unicef Kid Power, American Red Cross, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and Make-A-Wish.
The organisation has so far raised over $10 million in donations and ends today, marking "Star Wars Day".
