Mpho, Desmond Tutu awarded honorary fellowships
Mpho Tutu says she is honoured and privileged to accept the fellowship.
CAPE TOWN - Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu and his daughter Mpho have been awarded honorary fellowships from the Regent's University London.
Special guests from around the world attended the ceremony at the One and Only Hotel in Cape Town this afternoon.

Deputy Vice Chancellor Simon Jarvis says it serves as recognition and celebration of the Tutus and their foundation's outstanding contributions to the fight for human rights.
Mpho says she is honoured and privileged to accept the fellowship.

After declining to stay seated, the Archbishop served up his iconic laughter, while assuring worried family members that he can still comfortably make it into the stage.
