CAPE TOWN - Police in Philippi, in the Western Cape, are working to identify two charred bodies that were found dumped in a hole in the area.

Community members made the gruesome discovery this morning in the Sweet Home Farm informal settlement.

The police's Frederick van Wyk said, "Police were informed by community members about two burnt and unidentified bodies lying in a hole. We've opened a double murder case for further investigations."
