17 learners hospitalised after crash in Durban

JOHANNESBURG - Seventeen schoolchildren were injured in a minibus crash in the south of Durban this morning.

KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Service's Robert McKenzie said the children were rushed to hospital.

"A total of 18 people were at the scene of the crash and 17 of these were school children who were injured in the crash. The injuries, according to a report from the scene, range from serious to minor."

It's not yet clear what caused the crash in Chatsworth.
