Investigations underway after accident at Kruger National Park
Three people died when a taxi veered off the road yesterday and overturned at the park.
JOHANNESBURG - SANParks says investigations are underway to determine the cause of a taxi accident at the Kruger National Park that left three people dead.
Preliminary reports indicate that no other vehicle was involved, the taxi veered off the road yesterday and overturned, killing the three day visitors and injuring several others.
SANParks' William Mabasa says it's unclear if the taxi was speeding.
"The maximum speed is 50 kilometres per hour. At this stage we don't want to speculate and the investigation will be able to determine what may have caused the accident. People in the car will also have something to say about it but for now we don't know what happened."
