Metrorail infrastructure attacked... again

CAPE TOWN - Metrorail has come under attack over the past two weeks amid strike action by workers affiliated to trade union Satawu.

Train services have been thrown into disarray during a spate of vandalism and arson attacks.

Metrorail management are working with law enforcement to investigate the crimes and say they are monitoring the situation closley.

Metrorail's Richard Walker says more cables and apparatus cases were stolen this morning, further compromising services on the Northern Line.
