JOHANNESBURG - A Metro Police officer has been shot and wounded in Vlakfontein, south of Johannesburg.
The man has been airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after the shoot-out.
ER24's Werner Vermaak says, "When paramedics arrived, they found a heavy Saps and Metro Police presence. They were quickly taken through to an officer, who was lying down on the ground with a wound, appearing to be a gunshot wound to his head."
