Uefa Champions League semifinalists determined
Man City, fresh off their win over Paris Saint Germain, will next face the ten-time champions Real Madrid.
JOHANNESBURG - The fixtures for the Uefa Champions League have been decided. Uefa's Giorgio Marchetti was joined on stage by former Champions League winner Dejan Stankovic to make the announcement.
The pair drew Manchester City first, who fresh off their win over Paris Saint Germain, will next face the ten-time champions Real Madrid who overcame a 2-0 deficit by beating Wolfsburg 3-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
That left Atletico Madrid to be drawn against Bayern Munich, a repeat of the 1974 final which saw the Bundesliga side run out 4-0 winners in a replay after the initial match was drawn 1-1.
Atletico will by buoyed by their impressive win over reigning champions Barcelona, while Bayern comfortably beat Benfica in their quarterfinal.
The matches will take place between 26 and 27 April, with the return legs set for 3 and 4 May.
