Stabbed Hanover Park teacher recovering, learners to get counselling

CAPE TOWN - A teacher is recovering after she was robbed and stabbed on school grounds yesterday.

The woman was attacked and robbed as she arrived at Summit Primary school in Hanover Park.

The Western Cape education department's Jessica Shelver said, "Counselling is being made available for the educator as well as any learner that has been affected by the incident."

Last week, a grade 9 pupil was stabbed in the chest, allegedly by a gangster at Modderdam High School.
