4 hospitalised after minor train collision in Gauteng

The incident happened near the R23 this morning, outside Heidelberg in Gauteng.

JOHANNESBURG - Four people have been injured in a minor train collision outside Heidelberg in Gauteng.

The incident happened near the R23 this morning.

It's believed one goods carriage bumped into the locomotive.

ER24's Russel Meiring said, "On arrival, paramedics found that four occupants had been injured. Fortunately the injuries that were sustained were only minor. We treated the patients for their injuries and transported them to a hospital for further assessment."
