10 injured after two taxis collide in Diepsloot

Paramedics have treated patients who have been transported to nearby hospitals.

JOHANNESBURG - At least 10 people have been injured in a collision involving two taxis in Diepsloot this morning.

The vehicles collided on the R511 and one of the taxis landed on its roof. According to ER24, the other taxi had parked a few metres away.

ER24's Russel Meiring says, "Fortunately no serious or fatal injuries were reported on the scene. We treated the patients who were thereafter transported to a nearby hospital in Tembisa for further treatment. The cause of this collision is not yet known, but local authorities were on scene for investigation."
