JOHANNESBURG - The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) says it has expanded its logistics to accommodate an expected influx of eligible voters visiting polling stations this weekend.
The electorate has sent notifications to more than 5 million people whose address details are either incomplete or aren't listed.

The IEC is trying to comply with an Electoral Court decision ordering voter addresses be registered on the voters roll.
The ruling has seen scheduled by-elections postponed because of some outstanding addresses on the registry.

Deputy chief electoral officer Sy Mamabolo says the IEC is ready for this weekend.
"We are ready to welcome everybody. We've beefed up capacity and our logistics have been increased so as to accommodate the numbers that will be flocking to stations as expected." LISTEN: IEC clarifies voter concerns.
