JOHANNESBURG - Women and Men against Child Abuse has applauded the Johannesburg High Court for handing down 28 life sentences to a convicted child rapist.
Peter Khoza faced more than 130 charges. In 2007, he targeted girls as young as eight years old in the Tembisa and Olifantsfontein areas. He kidnapped and raped his victims
Women and Men against Child Abuse spokesperson Tania Otto said, "We think it's brilliant and really commend Judge Eben Jordaan for handing these down. We've seen great work coming out of the Palm Ridge court which is now a dedicated sexual offences court and it bodes well for future sexual offences courts."
