Gauteng warned to brace for rain, cooler temperatures
A substantial amount of rain is also expected to hit parts of Mpumalanga and the North West.
JOHANNESBURG - The South African Weather Service says Gauteng should brace for cooler temperatures as a cold front moves into the province tomorrow.
A substantial amount of rain is also expected to hit parts of Mpumalanga and the North West, with temperatures dropping below 20.
The weather service says although there is the prospect of a warmer winter this year, it's not likely to be much warmer.
Forecaster Wayne Venter said, "The temperatures will be above normal, that might be just 1 degree or 0.5 degree above normal, but the temperatures will be above normal this winter."
