CAPE TOWN - Police divers have resumed a search for two missing children in Richards Bay.
The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) emergency teams responded to distress calls during a training session near Pelican Beach after eye witnesses reported a drowning.
It's understood the two boys landed into trouble while out swimming yesterday.
The NSRI's Craig Lambinon said, "The NSRI was called to the area following reports that two children had gone missing under the water. On arrival, an extensive search was carried out and despite that, no sign of the children has been found. A police dive unit are continuing with the search."
At the same time, a search also continues for a man who was swept out to sea near East London.
Officials say the 44-year-old man was pulled out in strong tides at Eastern Beach yesterday.
