CAPE TOWN - Lions' fly half Elton Jantjies will undergo surgery after sustaining a fractured left wrist in his side's impressive 39-22 win against the Cheetahs last weekend.

It's uncertain when the Springbok will return to action.

In other injury news, the Lions all-action flank Jaco Kriel is currently on day two of the Start Graduated Return to Play (GRTP) programme after he suffered a concussion in the same match against the Cheetahs.
