Mentor calls on ANC officials to come forward
The former MP has challenged other ANC officials to come forward amid claims of abuse of State resources.
CAPE TOWN - Former African National Congress (ANC) MP Vytjie Mentor has challenged other ANC officials to come forward with claims of abuse of State resources.
Mentor recently claimed she was offered the job of public enterprises minister several years ago by members of the Gupta family.
In an interview with the Sunday Times, she gave a detailed account of the 2010 meeting at the Guptas' home in Saxonwold in Gauteng.
Mentor has urged others within government and the ANC ranks to stand up to what she calls a "capture of crucial State entities".
She says she could no longer keep quiet following the appointment of Des van Rooyen as finance minister.
Mentor, however, fears she may have placed her children in danger for speaking out and revealing the Gupta family shenanigans.
She says she will be revealing more details about the wealthy Gupta family soon.
