Demonstrators plan to hand over a memorandum at the local police station.
The small group of Philippi residents say they're marching for change.
They're demanding more effective policing in their community.
Protesters are holding up posters calling for increased police visibility amongst other things as residents say they are fed up with high crime levels.
As they sing old struggle songs, they're urging other community members to join the march.
