Perfect braai weather in SA this weekend
The South African Weather Service says there's a lower probability of rain.
JOHANNESBURG - The South African Weather Service says people can come out and braai this weekend as normal summer conditions are expected, with a lower probability of rain.
At least 110 millimetre of rain were recorded in Gauteng this week alone.
Mpumalanga and Limpopo also had heavy rainfall which lead to flooding of low bridges at the Kruger National Park.
The weather service's forecaster Lulama Pheme said, "The weather have improved from the rain we had and we are going to have now the normal summer conditions. That is why yesterday, today and tomorrow we are looking at 30 percent [chances of] showers and thundershowers."
ULTIMATE BRAAI MASTER SHOW GOES GLOBAL
The word 'braai' could soon become part of international lingo as South Africa's Ultimate Braai Master Show hits global television screens.
Presenter and producer of the show Justin Bonello says the popular show has been picked up by Discovery Networks International, which airs in South America and the Caribbean, with the first format rights also sold in Canada and the United States.
Locally viewers can still watch season four of the show, while Bonello is already working on season five that will broadcast later this year.
