4 people killed in separate accidents on WC roads

CAPE TOWN - Four people have been killed in separate incidents on the Western Cape roads in the space of just a few hours.

A 19-year-old driver and his passenger died after their car crashed through the fence of a primary school in Durbanville.

ER24's Werner Vermaak said the vehicle was found hanging from a tree.

"Paramedics arrived shortly after 4am this morning and found the vehicle still hanging from a tree. Two people were found with fatal injuries in the vehicle. Sadly there was nothing paramedics could do for them as they were declared dead."

Vermaak said another two people died in a crash in Franschhoek.

"Two vehicles collided with each other, leaving two people with fatal injuries."

In the third, incident a car swerved off Victoria Road between Hout Bay and Camps Bay shortly after midnight.

The driver survived.
