Maimane calls on South Africans to vote for change

Mmusi Maimane says the country is facing a number of challenges especially on the economic front.

JOHANNESBURG - Democratic Alliance (DA) leader Mmusi Maimane says it's time for South Africans to vote for change.

Maimane was speaking during his registration at his old high school in Roodepoort in Johannesburg this morning.

[WATCH] DA leader Mmusi Maimane urged the eligible voters to register in order to help "save South Africa" as he registered at the Allen Glen high school in Roodepoort on Saturday.

He says the country is facing a number of challenges especially on the economic front.

"Whilst the ANC is falling apart, we need to be able to build South Africa and put South African first. So while they are fighting, whether they are fighting in Sars, or the Nkandla report, our focus is to say we need an alternative. Help us save South Africa."
