Theodoridis takes over from Infantino at UEFA

CAPE TOWN - UEFA named Greek Theodore Theodoridis as the new general secretary of the European football confederation on Friday.
The appointment comes after Gianni Infantino left the role to become the new president of Fifa.
Theodoridis joined UEFA in 2008 and has been in charge of relations with various national football associations across Europe.
